In 1995 Dietrich Bohnhorst and Ray Robinson produced DEDICATION, a four part movie, following two dedicated fly-fishers through various entertaining and exciting expeditions on land and sea in the North-West of Ireland.

After DEDICATION was shown on European TV via French Station AB-Sat and in North America via a cable network it became somewhat of an angler’s cult film.

All 107 minutes of DEDICATION are now available for only €20 on DVD;

DEDICATION is not a how to or where to go program. It’s a slice of life.

And many people wanted to know where all the fishing, portrayed in DEDICATION, took place.
Dietrich and Ray were asked questions like:

Where can I stay?

So the idea for WHERE TO FISH IN IRELAND was triggered, to answer all the questions.

With the help of Brendan Moran, Ruediger Trautmann, Fritz Rodewald and Ray Robinson, as well as his film crew, Dietrich began working on the project.

This website will be constatnly growing as we fish along, so to speak.

This website, as well as our movies are completely independent, they are solely carried by me and my angling and/or filming friends.
