James Laffin, an angler in his prime, caught this grilse despite the sunny weather.

And another feller in his prime. By the way, the fish fell for a shrimp fly.

 

It rained

Rain! After six weeks of drought it rained and the rivers had enough water to bring some salmon up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nice flood in the Owenea and Eany rivers.
