Char fishing at Lough Eske
Char fishing at Lough Eske, County Donegal.
These tiny wee fellers are very tasty and worth fishing for.
The days are pretty short though, ending with a cool, wintry sun on the lake.

Various Pictures
Here some pictures which were sent to us from France, by our friend Dominique Berthou.
Lovely trout from Aranmore.
Linus and Sarah skating down the lane of Cassir, Inver, Co. Donegal.
August 2005, Dominique and lots of trout on Aranmore Island, Co. Donegal
This is why we all love Linus so much, he just always gets the priorities
right.

Clouds over Lough Finn.
Heavy clouds over Lough Finn.
One has to stretch the legs every now and then.
Iris and a nice wee feller on the Bibio.

High up in the Donegal Mountains
Lough Finn, high up in the Donegal Mountains.

No fish for Jimmy Schmidt and me
At Lough Kip near Glenties, Co. Donegal.
Though we changed the flies plenty of times, no fish for Jimmy Schmidt and
me.
But we'll be back!

We caught f*** all.
Lough Geeta high up in the Blue Stacks.
Ray's line is all tangled up. The Omen for the day. We caught f*** all.
Looks like perfect conditions, but the fish didn't believe it.
Not even a location change to this splendid lake near Port, Co. Donegal, helped.

Lough Naman Finn near Inver
Photographs Iris Tantow
Fishing Lough Naman Finn near Inver, Co. Donegal.
For the first time this season the trout were really taking well.
They all fell for either The Bibio
or The Wickham's
Fancy.

A day of two halves
1. Fishing at the Sea Cliffs near Bunglass in Co. Donegal.
Lough O'Muilligan, a Lake at the cliff.
Ray likes the wind and the rain.
2. The wet weather gave way to a more pleasant sunshine, so we moved down the
hills, to have a pint or two in one of the local hostelries.
On the way we stopped at Lough Unshagh and caught a few trout.
That's what we brought home: a sea trout and a feed of Brownies. Most of them
took the Bibio.
