Char at Lough Eske

I am at the char again.  There are a few very beautiful autumn days in November and you just have to be out fishing.

And Ray and me decide, to spend the last day of the trout season at Lough Naloughraman.

And we are not coming home empty handed.  There are still a good few trout taking our flies.

The season is coming to a close. Much too soon, as always.

Though this time of year is full of colour, there is a bit of melancholy in the air as well; at least for the game angler in me.

At the windmills again

Ray is walking down to another lake at the windmills of Barnesmore.  Thank God, where we are, there is always one more lake to fish.
