Fairy-land
At Lough Naloughraman. We felt like being in a Fairy-land.
Raymondo is hit by reality in Fairy-land. A trout took his fly.
So there. Exactly pan size.

View over to Slieve Snacht, near Glenveagh National Park, Co. Donegal.
To enjoy this splendid view, you have to do a long and tiring walk though.

High up in the Donegal Mountains
High up in the Donegal Mountains near Carrick and Glencolumbcille.
Ray Robinson playing his spring trout.
And there were two very happy anglers. Two big trout and two big smiles from
a little lake.

Down to Lough Aghvog
On the way down to Lough Aghvog.

Raymondo enjoying his fishing, though the cold northerly wind spoiled it just
a wee bit.
But we came home with a few trout at least.
Not too bad for early March.

At Meenahorn lake
There is some sort of hazy sunshine, but the general feel is: pretty cold.
But I can convince a trout to take the Butcher.

The Termon River in south Donegal
The Termon River in south Donegal, bordering County Fermanagh, near the village of Pettigo.
Still a good bit of water in the river -

- and these two nice fellers took the nymph. A pheasant tail, to be more
precise.

High up in the Donegal Mountains
With Mr Robinson at a tiny stream high up in the Donegal Mountains.
The art of fishing is here reduced to hitting the water. It is only two foot
wide in places.
But, it is not impossible to catch fish in these little babbling
brooks.

Opening day
Beautiful weather, good water in the river, but no fish on opening day of the
trout season.
