No Rain, no Salmon
No rain, no salmon. So, it's the lakes of the Blue Stack Mountains again. You couldn't hope for a more beautiful setting for your brown trout fishing anyway.

Soon enough we had a good few trout, not the biggest ones, but good fishing and good eating.
In the Blue Stacks
Linus preparing a cast for Anja, to be ready for the trouts of a Blue Stack Mountain lake.
But the lake didn't yield a trout whatsoever. We have to come back another day.
Big Trout
Somewhere high up in the Blue Stack Mountains, there is a little lake with big fish. Let's say we call it Lough Linus, for want of a better name.

You aren't catching a brace of Trout like that every day. By the way, both took a Wickham's.
Open Season
First Day of the Trout Season
As usual, the first day of the trout season belongs to a mountain stream. This one is up in the Blue Stack Mountains, Co. Donegal.
I catch seven little trout on a Prince Bibio nymph. Not bad for March 1.
