Part 3

The Leine River at Gronau is open for salmon fishing.

One of the problems the project faces is the permeability.  There are lots of hydro power stations at the river so new fish pass systems had to be introduced to allow migratory fish to move.
After we had seen the “Great Hall” we went outside and had a look at some of the fish passes.
