Small Flies and Big Fish

Ray's fish took a small Bibio.

This one fell for a Masquerade.

There is one species that likes this sort of weather: the salmon angler. Why? Because the next day there will be a freshet in the river and big fish might run the system.   So, the day after the deluge Ray Robinson and I are off to the Owenea in County Donegal.
